Teresa Sumaras, PhD
Dr. Sumaras’ areas of interest include neurodegenerative conditions, stroke and vascular neurocognitive disorders, sequelae of traumatic brain injury, seizure disorder, and cognitive changes associated with chronic medical and psychiatric conditions. In addition to diagnostic evaluation, a portion of her practice will include an assessment of cognitive and behavioral status related to decisional status, guardianship proceedings, & expert testimony.
Dr. Susmaras will be joining MNS in July 2024 and will have immediate availability for adult neuropsychological evaluations. Please contact the main office to schedule an appointment.
Experience
Dr. Sumaras is a clinical neuropsychologist with nearly a decade of experience in neuropsychology. She completed her APA-accredited internship at Rush University Medical Center, Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Susmaras then completed a 2-year accredited neuropsychology fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
